My heart
sank this morning when I heard that for a second time this week , our place of
worship was flooded/filled with water. i thought about what other members were
feeling when they receive the sad news. I felt for the men who had spent many
hours two nights ago trying to drain water from the church and rectifing the
problem.i thought what went through their hearts and minds when they heard that what they had spent their time doing had gone to waste.
It is very clear to everyone the effort we have made to get out of this mess. We have tried seeking
help from relevant authorities but its all in vain. We have dug trenches and made
outlets for water but it has turned all into a waste of time and energy. We have tried to
raise money to construct a better sanctuary. We have drained our accounts,some of
us have taken loans, we have exhausted our savings and some of us have put on
hold their personal projects just to give towards the construction of a better
sanctuary and ensure that we come out of this mess. however, it has turned out to be more complicated than
we thought. It is so complicated that this blog post is not enough to explain
it all.
However,I want
you to know that god is not blind, he sees it all. we are so hurt,broken,
we have even been mocked because of this. It breaks my heart and the hearts of so
many of us to know that there is nothing left within us to do. we have come to our end.
it is so clear because none of us this time bother to attempt doing anything, all we are doing is watching from a distance. However,
let me encourage you. it is darkest before dawn. When we have reached our end,
that is where god begins working
.

this morning,don’t give in to complaining and murmuring. Start singing songs of
praise because god is doing it for us.the glory of what he is about to
release will be so great that when we
tell them about where we have come from, they will not believe it. now keep the
below photos in your archives so that you will show them the evidence. So that
they will know what god has done and what he can do. So that they will glorify
our god because ours is a true and miracle working god. soon all this will be
over and we will have our peace.
